Suspect Arrested In JeffCo Wing Joint Brawl That Endangered Child

A man seen on video at a Pine Junction wing shop fighting with a father and his daughter, 4, was arrested by the JeffCo Sheriff's Dept.

GOLDEN, CO -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's office said a second suspect was arrested in a Pine Ridge wing joint bar brawl that endangered a four-year-old girl. Devon Lee Premer, 22, was arrested Mar. 7 and was held on $50,000 bond facing assault and child abuse charges.

Richard Warry Brown, 39, was holding his young daughter when an argument broke out Jan. 25 around 10:10 p.m. at Crossroads Pizza & Wings in the first block of Mt. Evans Boulevard in Pine Junction. Surveillance video showed two men who began to throw punches while Brown held his daughter on his hip. Someone grabbed the girl as two men punched Brown.

When police arrived, Brown's injuries were so serious he had to be air-lifted to a hospital. Brown was charged with endangering a child.
