GOLDEN, CO — A teenager who escaped from the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center in June has been found and taken back into police custody. Quinn Scaggs, 17, used bed sheets to escape from the center, where he was last seen June 24.

SWAT and K-9 teams were called to an area near Palmer Park and Powers boulevards in Colorado Springs and Scaggs was taken back into custody.

Scaggs escaped by removing the window from his ground floor room and tying bed sheets together to escape over the perimeter fence, officials said. A K-9 team, drones and several agencies searched for him, but he wasn't found until this week.
