2 Arrested In Connection With Shooting Death Of Woman In Lakewood
One of the men was arrested in Texas, Lakewood police said.
LAKEWOOD, CO — Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Lakewood on Tuesday that left a woman dead. Investigators are searching for a third person of interest, police said.
Officers were called around 1:30 p.m. to the Safeway in the 9100 block of West Colfax Avenue after a report of shots fired. They found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
"Agents immediately started life saving measures, but she ultimately succumbed to those injuries and died," Lakewood police said in a news release.

Clenon Shernar Redd, 36, of Aurora, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting, police said. He faces first-degree murder charges.

Donald Robinson, 37, of Aurora, was arrested Saturday morning by troopers with the Texas State Highway Patrol near Sunset, Texas, police said. He is being held at the Wise County jail awaiting extradition to Jefferson County. He faces first-degree murder and aggravated robbery charges.
The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Charlotte Williams of Arvada.
Police are looking for a third person of interest in this case. She is described as a woman in her mid-30s who was last seen leaving the Safeway wearing a white jacket with black pants and possibly later, a black jacket with white pants, police said.
