2 Steal Car, Crash Into Lakewood Home: Fire Officials
Two young people stole a car and crashed into a Lakewood house while the homeowner was inside, fire officials said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — Two people crashed a stolen car into a home in Lakewood Monday, fire officials said.
The car went through the front wall of the home around 10 a.m. in the 5600 block of W. Iliff Drive, according to West Metro Fire Rescue.
The homeowner was in the house at the time of the crash but no injuries were reported, fire officials said.

"Our technical rescue team responded to shore up the damaged structure," West Metro Fire Rescue said in a tweet Monday afternoon.
The two people who were in the car were described as "juveniles," but no further information about the crash was released.
