EDGEWATER, CO -- A third suspect in the fatal shooting of a Lakewood man as he walked into a restaurant to pick up dinner has been arrested, Edgewater police said.

Devon Drizzt Howard, 20, was arrested in Centennial around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.

An arrest affidavit said that Howard and accomplices Caleb Vigil and Alicia Valdez, both 19, set out to rob a random person with a gun they had recently acquired. Jenicek threw his wallet and cell phone to the ground, and tried to grab the gun, held by Vigil, the affidavit said. Vigil shot him in the chest and the three fled in a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse, registered to Valdez and captured on surveillance video.

On April 8, the three suspects and a fourth person were driving in the Mitsubishi when they were pulled over for a minor traffic violation.
