Here are the top stories today in Lakewood:

  1. Last day to return your 2021 ballots! Only 93K Ballots have been returned. Have you voted yet? If not, you've got until 7:00 p.m. tonight to drop your ballot off at one of the JeffCO ballot boxes. (Patch)
  2. Seeing the problem: The Denver metro area is in the grips of a homelessness crisis that only seems to be growing, and although money is flowing to it, solutions seem evasive. (Fox31)
  3. Supply chain woes mean Colorado's vast market of outdoors goods are more expensive: No industry has been spared, and that includes the vast market for outdoor recreation equipment. Coloradans should be prepared to pay a little more for gear when heading to the mountains for the foreseeable future. (CPR)
  4. Changes at TSA security at DIA: Denver International Airport travelers will see changes to TSA security lanes starting Nov. 2. officials say, with the help of TSA, these modifications at security check points, will lead to improved passenger flow. (CBS4)
