- On the November ballot: Should liquor retailers be able to have an unlimited number of stores in Colorado? If Proposition 124 passes, it would allow liquor retailers to own and operate an unlimited number of stores beginning in 2037. This proposition essentially rewrites Colorado's liquor laws. (CO Sun)
- Colorado ski season may have its latest opening dates this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures through the end of October. Typically, both Arapahoe Basin and Keystone are competing to be the first to open, which typically happens in mid-October. (Unofficial Network)
