  1. Casa Bonita entrepreneur selling his Penny Pincher machine. The new owners at Casa Bonita have invested millions into renovating the iconic restaurant, but it looks like the jail photos and Penny Pincher machine won't be part of the upgrades. (9News)
  2. After a 100 years, the Colorado Compact may have created more problems than it solved. Originally devised to split up the water that flowed out of the Colorado River, today more than 40 million people depend on the river, and it's quickly drying up. The original agreement may have never been an accurate way to distribute the water in the first place. (CBS4)

  4. Metro Denver is more than two inches short on annual rainfall. Even with all the moisture the first part of September, overall, metro Denver is short more than two inches compared to what is considered normal for the year. (FOX31)
  5. FAA says Denver International Airport is at an increased risk of midair crashes. Because there are two busy runways that are close together at DIA, pilots that approach the airport have been turning off "nuisance" collision warning systems, increasing the risk of a midair crash.
