Donate School Supplies For JeffCo Kids At The Action Center
Lakewood's Action Center will distribute school supplies next week to needy JeffCo kids. It's not too late to fill a backpack or two.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO – The first day of school is just around the corner for JeffCo School district students, and what's more exciting for kids than a backpack full of brand new school supplies?
For some families, especially with multiple children, paying hundreds of dollars for supplies at the year's beginning is difficult when other fees and fall-related costs are mounting.
Lakewood's Action Center organizes a school supply drive every year to make sure every JeffCo student starts the year right. Students and their families pick up supplies at Stevens Elementary School in Wheat Ridge between Aug. 6-11 (hours 10-3 p.m.)
