  1. Drought conditions causing more problems for the Rocky Mountain region's trees. Years of persistent drought causing outbreaks of bark beetles in the state's forests. (7News)
  2. I-70 closes near Gypsum due to wildfire. The Duck Pond fire was burning near the Eagle River near Gypsum. Neighborhoods in western Eagle County were evacuated on Saturday and Bureau of Land Management are searching for clues about the fire's origin. (CPR)
  3. Cherry Creek Starbucks employees plan to unionize. Staff at the coffee company's store at Third and Columbine, in Denver, announced that they are are planning to unionize. According to Ashyah Secrest, a Starbucks employee, 70 percent of the workers at the location are ready join the union efforts. (FOX31)
  4. 13-year-old steals her parent's car. Two teenagers that were running away, stole one of their their parents' car and drove away, but have since been found. (CBS4)
  5. Denver non-profit fights to not get gentrified out of the neighborhood. Re:Vision, a nonprofit that's focused on improving food access and food security, is collaborating with Urban Land Conservancy, in hopes that the organizations can to continue to provide services on Denver's westside. (Denverite)
