- Edgewater City Council walks back gun rights restrictions. The Edgewater City Council was planning to restrict new gun rights, but backs down after dozens of residents emailed and showed up at an April 19 work session where they expressed their opposition to the measure. (Complete CO)
- Every Colorado taxpayer will get at least $400. Gov. Polis announced a $400 stimulus check for taxpaying Coloradans in August or September. (Patch)
- Metro Denver auto thefts continue to increase. According to the Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force, Colorado is the number one state when it comes to stolen vehicles on a per-capita basis. (9News)
- Colorado School of Public Health predicting uptick COVD-19 infections. The recent study shows several scenarios for the number of people who will be hospitalized. The number of hospitalizations depends on whether a new variant emerges and whether that variant is more transmissible that it's previous counterparts. (FOX31)
- Salida motel owner offers hospitality advice. The MSU grad has been named Salida's entrepreneur of the year, as well as one of MSU Denver's 10 under 10, an award given out to students who graduate and go on to do big things in their communities. (CBS4)
