- Former foster kids launched a nonprofit to help young people. The group is set up to help other foster kids, from helping find funding for cell phone bills to getting court fees covered. The group is lead, in part, by a woman that spent five years in foster care. (CO Sun)
- Woman found dead at in Boulder was killed for guns, money and drugs. Alexis Baca was found last Sunday at Realization Point Trailhead in Boulder, with cigarette burns on her body, a bag of methamphetamines in her pocket, and a bullet hole in her head. Police have pieced together a timeline before and after she was killed, and uncovered a story of how it all went down. (FOX31)
- Action Center provides 5,000 families with school supplies. The Action Center is helping out nearly 5,000 Jefferson County families that can't afford school supplies. The annual program provides children with everything from markers and erasers to backpacks to library cards. (CBS4)
- Tina Peters loses even after recount. Jefferson County's former County Clerk, Pamela Anderson, won the GOP primary race for Secretary of State last June. Her opponent, the embattled Mesa County Clerk, demanded a recount amid claims that the election had been rigged. The $265,000 recount cost netted Peters a total of 13 extra votes, despite losing in the June primary by nearly 14 percentage points. (CPR)
- Federal dollars pouring into Denver International Airport. As part of The Biden administration's 2021 infrastructure bill, DIA will receive $60M. The airport plans to use the funds expand and upgrade terminals and other facilities. (Out There)

- JSX launches charter service at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. The charter jet service will be providing nonstop flights on 30-seat jets from RMMA to Burbank, CA and Dallas, with hop-on jet service from RMMA in Broomfield. The airline allows customers to enjoy a seamless travel experience without the crowds, lines and hassles associated with congested airport terminals. (JSX)
