  1. Lakewood to say goodbye to long time pizza place. After 35 years of serving up Denver-Style pizza, the Green Mountain staple, Frontroom Pizza, is closing its doors for good. Citing difficulties with staffing and increased food costs, the restaurant will officially close its doors Jan. 9, 2022 – so there's still time to get one last pizza pie. (Restaurant News)
  2. Turns out Denver police investigated gunman a year before deadly shooting spree. Police in Denver received a tip about the Denver-Lakewood shooter a year before he killed five people and wounded more in an apparent revenge-fueled shooting rampage. (FOX31)
  3. Vehicle stolen from family that lost home in Marshall Fire. The SUV, which contained the only possessions they were able to grab, was stolen from the hotel parking lot where they were staying after their home was destroyed. (9News)
  4. King Soopers strike looming over stores in Colorado. Union members at the grocery chain in Denver, Broomfield, Boulder, Parker and Colorado Springs have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a strike, citing the company's egregious and unrelenting unfair labor practices.(CBS4)
  5. Millions of dollars have been raised for victims of the Marshall Fire. As of Tuesday morning, the Boulder County Wildfire Fund has received more than $12 million in donations. Some of those funds have already been put into use to aide those that have been impacted by the fires. (7News)
