  1. Congressman Perlmutter visited St. Anthonys: Last week, Rep. Perlmutter got a first-hand look at the state-of-the-art facilities at the Lakewood-based hospital, and referred to St. Anthony's as "a jewel for the entire state." (Arvada Press)

  3. What's lurking in the water? Sloans Lake has been closed since mid-July due to a toxic algae bloom. Lakes around the state have active blooms, but unlike Sloans, they aren't entirely closed for recreation. (FOX31)
