  1. Most expensive housing prices in the U.S.: It won't come as any surprise that Hawaii and California are a the top of the list, but check out where Lakewood sits on the list. (24/7 Wall St.)
  2. Colorado Christian University continues to expand in Lakewood, and the school recently announced it had purchased a building near its Lakewood campus on Alameda. CCU plans to move its nursing school to the new site located at 333 S. Allison Parkway. (BusinessDen)
  3. First Bank on the list: The Lakewood-based bank makes Forbes' 2021 Top Employers list, lots of Colorado companies on this list named as "great places" to work. (Patch)
  4. Jefferson County to update Bike Plan: The county is in the early phases of the update, and is hoping to have the revised plan completed by 2022. You can follow its progress and sign up to be notified for the next round of public meetings. (JEFFCO)
  5. Opioid Settlement: Colorado announced yesterday that it is receiving a whopping $400M and unveiled the framework for distributing the cash to the state's municipalities. The lingering question is how much will Lakewood receive? (9news)
