  1. Jeffco COVID-19 hospitalizations more than double since June: Just when you were hoping the pandemic was over. Across the state, breakthrough COVID-19 hospitalizations have increased quickly, here in Jeffco, its gone from just 31 cases in the City of Lakewood June 1 to more 71 though Sept. 1. Breakthrough cases are those that have been fully vaccinated. More numbers here. (Westword)
  2. Sustainable Lakewood: The City of Lakewood's 2020-2021 Sustainability Plan Annual Report is now available for your review. On Monday, Sept. 13, this plan will be presented to City Council along with 2022 budget requests to support the plan's efforts, which include preparations for climate change. Experiential sportsman's club coming to Lakewood: While the kids are shopping, you'll soon be able to sharpen your shooting skills, as the Denver area's first multi-use, experiential indoor shooting facility is headed to the Colorado Mills Mall.
