Jeffco Public Health Hosts Town Hall Amid Coronavirus Spread
Thousands of Jefferson County residents are expected to join a telephone town hall Thursday. Here's how to participate.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — Jefferson County Public Health and Jefferson Center are partnering to host a telephone town hall that will focus on maintaining mental health and well-being during the coronavirus pandemic. The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mark Johnson, Jefferson County Public Health’s executive director, will provide an update on COVID-19 in Jefferson County. Jefferson Center CEO Kiara Kuenzler and several other experts will share mental health and wellness tips as well as local resources to support the community.
After the presentation, community members will have an opportunity to ask questions and speak with the panel.

At 5:30 p.m., 50,000 Jefferson County residents will be called at random to take part in the telephone town hall. If you don’t receive a call, you can still participate by calling 855-695-3486. Residents can also sign up to receive a phone call by texting JEFFCO to 833-TXT-LIVE (833-898-5483).
