- Green Mountain High School mountain bike team coach and Jeffco educator killed in avalanche. What started out as a fun day in the mountains turned into tragedy for Brian Bunnell and his family. Bunnell was was buried in an avalanche while he and his three sons were snow boarding near Berthoud Pass. The 44-year-old Lakewood resident was a science teacher at Conifer High School and the GMHS mountain bike team's coach. (9News)
- Denver says it is at a breaking point with more migrants showing up every day. With the continual flow of migrants arriving in Denver, city officials are seeking additional assistance from the federal government.
