Jefferson County Neighborhoods With Highest Coronavirus Rates
Here's the latest look at the communities and municipalities with the highest coronavirus case rates in Jefferson County.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — More than 36,000 coronavirus cases have been reported in Jefferson County since the pandemic began in Colorado, and 2,028 people have been hospitalized, according to public health data.
As of Tuesday, 736 people have died in the county, according to Jefferson County Public Health.

- Mount Carbon Park and Westgate: 169.75; 1,182 total cases
- Leyden: 134.44; 436 total cases
- Whisper Creek: 94.84; 518 total cases
- Lakota Hills: 86.93; 1,210 total cases
- Charles Whitlock Rec Park and Morse Park area: 85.72; 520 total cases
- Lamar Heights: 85.40; 362 total cases
- Northeast Lakewood: 85.21; 2,971 total cases
- Skyline: 85.14; 948 total cases
- Okane Park: 84.48; 1,983 total cases
- Arvada Center: 79.42; 274 total cases
- Homestead Park and Columbine: 79.42; 795 cases
- Scenic Heights: 78.07; 267 total cases

Among Jeffco municipalities, Morrison has the highest coronavirus rate per 1,000 people (263.16), followed by Wheat Ridge (74.69) and Lakewood (70.67).

Coloradans ages 65 and older are now eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccine; however doses remain extremely limited in Jefferson County, public health officials said. More information about how to register for your vaccine can be found here.
Between Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon, 425 new coronavirus cases were reported in our state, according to data posted by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. There have been 415,037 cases reported in our state since the outbreak began, and 22,837 hospitalizations. The death toll has reached 5,655.
