  2. Wheat Ridge police seek stolen vehicle involved in crime spree. Police said thieves caused multiple collisions along Sheridan Boulevard as they tried to escape after stealing a vehicle in Wheat Ridge. The suspects ran down a woman after crashing into her car, as they continued their escape. (FOX31)
  3. Main mistakes voters make on their mail-in ballots. Elections officials said that in each election, voters make some of the same mistakes on their mail in ballots. Here's the list of the most common ones, so that you can submit your ballot without making having your ballot rejected. (9News)
  4. Colorado students can apply to colleges for free. From Oct. 18-20, application fees are waived to most of the state's colleges and universities as part of the Colorado's Free Application Days program. State officials expect 70,000 students to apply this year during the three-day period, that will wipe away $30-$50 application fees. (Chalkbeat)

  • Jefferson County Commissioners approve Wildfire Regulation Revisions. The updates to Jefferson County's wildfire regulations were approved on Oct. 11. Revisions are effective immediately. The Zoning Resolutions updated both the Zoning Resolution Section 15 for Landscaping, as well as the county's Wildfire Hazard Overlay District. (Jeffco)
