- Jeffco School District raising wages at schools. Over the next year, Jeffco will increase hourly wages for a variety of positions including paraeducators, custodians, bus drivers, secretaries, and food service workers. (7News)
- Woman accused of stealing government credit cards. An employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lakewood, Dema Martinez, allegedly stole $800,000 in credit cards, and is now facing a 24-count federal indictment for wire and bank fraud. (9News)
- Metro Denver has some of the highest median rents in the U.S. Out of the 50 largest metro areas, Denver-Lakewood-Aurora currently has the 14th highest median rent at $2,032 per month. (FOX31)
- Environmental groups file suit against state regulatory agencies in Colorado and Montana over coal mining compliance rules. Five groups, including the WildEarth Guardians and the Sierra Club, filed a lawsuit over clean air rules being violated at the West Elk Mine. (CO Sun)
- Colorado's TABOR budget rules run smack dab into inflation. Colorado's Taxpayer's Bill of Rights puts growth and spending caps on the state's budget and is pegged to growth and inflation.
