- State Senate election could shift Colorado's direction. While many voter's attention in November will be on national elections, the Colorado State Senate's majority is hanging delicately in the balance. (CO Sun)
- Losses from Marshall Fire expected to exceed $2 billion. Last December's Marshall Fire will go down as Colorado's most expensive wildfire. The fire destroyed nearly 1,100 homes and so far, has caused more than $2 billion in losses to homes and businesses.(9News)
- Metro Denver's real estate market is cooling off, higher mortgage rates part of the equation. Interest rates hit the highest they've been in almost 20 years, and some say that it is cooling off Denver's overheated real estate market. (Denverite)
- School co-founder banned from all Denver Public Schools properties. Brandon Pryor has been banned from all DPS properties and was dismissed from coaching youth football this week. His supporters are demanding that DPS drop the ban, which stemmed from complaints that the school board has received about Pryor's in-school behavior. (FOX31)
