  1. EPA not backing down from reformulated gasoline requirement. The Environmental Protection Agency recently downgraded the front range's air quality to "severe," which then requires reformulated gas as part of the program to reduce lung-damaging ozone pollution. (CO Sun)
  2. Lakewood Police Department seeking new chief to run the show. The City of Lakewood is looking for a replacement for chief of police. The requirements for the job include candidates with 10 years of experience, as well as a bachelor or master's degree. The police departments are hoping to start interviewing candidates in November.   3. Casa Bonita developing new culture. Improving the iconic restaurant is no easy task, so
    29 staff members recently completed a 16-week program to cross-training program in both English and Spanish. (FOX31)
  4. Denver wants to spend $250 million for homeless services in 2023. The City of Denver is aiming to pour hundreds of millions of dollars as part of its newly revised action plan, which some advocates say doesn't do enough. (9News)
