Lakewood Special Election 2019: Ballot Question 200, How To Vote
Voters will begin receiving their ballots by mail over the next few weeks, officials said.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A special election will be held in Lakewood July 2, and voters will choose the outcome of Ballot Question 200, an ordinance that would curb residential growth in the city through a permit allocation system. Voters will begin receiving their ballots in the mail starting June 10.
Here is the question as it will appear on the ballot:
Shall the City of Lakewood limit residential growth to no more than one (1) percent per year by implementing a permit allocation system for new dwelling units, and by requiring City Council approval of allocations for projects of forty (40) or more units?
