- Tri-demic hitting metro Denver. Two years ago, it was COVID-19, but this winter, those living in metro Denver are facing what officials are calling a "tri-demic." With COVID-19, flu and RSV spreading fast, hospitals up and down the front range are filling up and its impacting both adults and children. (Colorado Politics)
- Downtown development ordinance approved by Littleton city council. The new ordinance was approved by voters last November and with its passage, Littleton City Council has unanimously approved the ordinance that will create the Littleton Downtown Development Authority. The new entity will support downtown economic vitality and improvements in the district. (Littleton Independent)
- Denver spending $9 million to buy another motel to house the homeless. In 2021, Denver announced the city was purchasing The Stay Inn motel, which has 96 units, but ran into issues trying to fund the purchase. Now, with COVID-19 money still flowing into the city, the city is move forward with the purchase of the building located near 38th and Peoria. (Westword)
- Higher number of wolves in Colorado sought by advocates. The Endangered Species Coalition supports the reintroduction of gray wolves in Colorado, but the group is questioning the plan that was released last week by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. (KDVR)

- Flight For Life Colorado asks citizens to not to point lasers at aircraft of any type, including at Flight For Life Colorado helicopters. Last Tuesday, someone was using one on the pilots. The danger of a laser pointed inside a cockpit could blind a pilot and potentially cause a crash. (9News)
