Live Colo. Music This Summer At Lakewood 2018 Sounds Exciting!
Colorado artists run from folk to blues to Afro pop at Lakewood's outdoor Wednesday night music series at the Lakewood Heritage Center.

LAKEWOOD, CO – – Lakewood’s Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series comes to the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater Wednesdays (except the 4th of July) starting next week through the summer. The focus is on Colorado native artists for the six-concert series.
This summer's lineup includes:
- June 27: The performance of We Dream Dawn with Bridget Law features Sage Cook and Bridget Law, founding members of the Colorado-based folk band Elephant Revival. The gates open a 6 p.m. with opener Americana/Rock performer Andy Sydow playing at 6:15 p.m
- July 11: Hazel Miller Band (Lakewood’s rhythm and blues favorite); Opener: Franny & The Jets (a Boulder-based combo playing jazz standards, blues).
- July 18: Dennis Johnson & The Mississippi Ramblers (from San Francisco roots, slide guitar); Opener: Dustin Devine & The Real Deal (Denver-based traditional country)
- July 25: Paa Kow (Denver-based Afro fusion, world); Opener: ATOMGA (A Denver-based Afrobeat, Afrofunk)
- Aug. 1: Oakhurst (bluegrass); Opener: Steepland String Band (bluegrass)
- Aug. 8: Rob Drabkin (rock); Opener: Matt Rouch & The Noise Upstairs (folk-country)
The series is held outside near at the Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 S. Yarrow St.

Local food trucks are available, as well asa Lakewood Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union and selling craft beer brewed in Lakewood.
Season tickets are $30, which includes all six concerts for the price of five and expedited access into the venue through the new Fast Pass Lane located at the main gate. Single concert tickets start at $6.
