Man Arrested In Connection With Lakewood Walmart Shooting
A Lakewood man has been arrested after a shooting outside Walmart that may have been caused by a parking dispute, police said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside a Walmart in Lakewood Sunday, police said. The victim was shot multiple times and remains in the hospital in stable condition, authorities said.
Kile Joshua Chaca has been charged with first-degree assault with a deadly weapon.
Officers were called to the store at 440 Wadsworth Blvd. just after 9:30 p.m., police said. Upon their arrival, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Earlier this week, Lakewood police said they believe the man was shot during an argument over a parking spot.

Chaca was arrested Wednesday morning and is being held at the Jefferson County jail. Lakewood police still need to contact witnesses and have not released Chaca's mugshot.
