Man Shot At Lakewood Walmart Over Possible Parking Dispute: Cops

A man was hospitalized after he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Lakewood police said.

LAKEWOOD, CO — A man was injured in a shooting outside a Walmart in Lakewood Sunday night. Lakewood police said they believe the man was shot during an argument over a parking spot.

Officers were called to the store at 440 Wadsworth Blvd. just after 9:30 p.m., police said. Upon their arrival, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

Two suspects left the parking lot in a vehicle, police said. A description of the suspects and their vehicle was not available.

The man was taken to an area hospital and is expected to recover, police said.

Lakewood police said they believe the shooting was isolated and there's no danger to the public.
