Motorcyclist Dies In 1-Vehicle Lakewood Accident
A Lakewood man, 35, was killed Monday after witnesses said he struck a curb and was thrown from his motorcycle.

LAKEWOOD, CO -- A motorcyclist died in a one-vehicle crash in Lakewood Monday night, police said.
The incident happened around 10:15 p.m. near the intersection of West 6th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard, police said. Witnesses said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high speed and failed to take a turn onto southbound Wadsworth. The bike hit the curb and the rider was thrown off, police said.
The rider, a 35-year-old Lakewood resident, was pronounced dead on the scene. Police did not identify the man pending the notification of relatives.
