- Affordable housing initiative makes it on the November ballot. A measure that proposes to provide more public funding for affordable housing programs has collected the necessary signatures to appear on November's statewide ballot. The Dedicated State Income Tax Revenue for Affordable Housing Program, if passed, would dedicate one-tenth of 1% of state income tax revenue for affordable housing. (Center Square)
- Lakewood police continue to search for church vandalism suspect. Several churches in Lakewood have repeatedly been vandalized, and police are hoping the community can help identify the suspect from video footage. (CBS4)
- The COVID-19 pandemic isn't over. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has revised its vaccine-breakthrough dashboard on August 15 and is recommending that everyone in the state complete the entire vaccine series. (Westword)
