- Keeping your home warm in sub-zero temperatures. The most common mistake people make when temperatures drop below zero, is leaving the hose attached which can freeze the pipe and cause damage to your house. (FOX31)
- Colorado to activate National Guard as extreme cold weather approaches. Gov. Jared Polis has approved the activation of the Colorado National Guard to assist with the emergencies that may arise from the extreme cold weather that's expected to arrive beginning this afternoon. (CBS4)
- Emergency crews continue to make progress in Sunshine Wildland fire near Boulder. One home has been destroyed and another was damaged in the wildfire west of Boulder near Mount Sanitas. (CO Sun)
- Ice skating rink opens on Evergreen Lake. The Evergreen Park and Recreation District has officially opened the ice skating rink on lake in Evergreen. Typically, the ice has to be at least 12 inches thick to open — and 16 inches to be groomed by a Zamboni. (9News)
