- Governor Polis announced yesterday that, over the past few days, the State of Colorado saw the greatest increase in COVID-19 cases since May 2021. (9News)
- A brand new, $25,000 outdoor-fitness court opened on Wednesday at the Green Mountain Recreation Center in Lakewood, CO. This workout facility provides snazzy new exercise equipment for residents of Green Mountain to get fit. (Patch)
- An Evergreen attorney was sentenced to ten years in prison after being convicted of hiring a hitman to kill her husband's girlfriend. (Jeffco Transcript)
- Help a friend in need: Lakewood has long been in desperate need of services for its most vulnerable residents –with the creation of RecoveryWorks – that help is now available. Additionally, anything you can do help out would be awesome. There's a list of their current needs posted on their website. (CBS4)

- City of Lakewood Neighborhood Meeting: Tonight there's a rezoning meeting for 6070 W. Tennessee Avenue. For those of us that nerd out on zoning meetings, this 6.2 acre site's owner has applied to rezone this property to allow for multiple single-family units. (6:00-7:00PM)
- Mapping Inequality: The relationship between Redlining and Climate Justice. This meeting explores the correlations between mid-twentieth-century redlining, environmental and health inequities today. Hosted by the Colorado Renewable Energy Society. (6:00 - 7:30PM)
