- Denver metro losing jobs: Denver-Aurora-Lakewood region saw job market fall by 1.3 percent. Meanwhile, Colorado Springs is seeing strong job growth. State officials expect a full comeback next year for the labor market across the state. (Axios)
- Security incident at Denver International Airport shuts trains down. A man was taken into custody after authorities claimed he entered a secured area without going through security. (Out There)
- Red flag warning issued for parts of Metro Denver. The National Weather Service alert suggests that all outdoor burning should be avoided, as well as any other activities that may cause sparks. (Patch)
- Supporters planing a series of rallies throughout the metro area this week: Supporters of the semi-truck driver sentenced to 110 years for fiery 2019 crash, argue the sentence is too long, and are planning a protests at the state capitol and beyond. (Denverite)
- Jeffco teen breaks barriers as first female player to win Colorado 4A State Championship. Emma Strom is still considering whether or not she'll take football to the next level. (Patch)
