RRCC Theatre Presents The Addams Family Musical

From Red Rocks Community College: Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) Theatre Arts and Dance, presents the musical comedy The Addams Family, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This musical is directed by Kelly Jo Eldredge with choreography by Angela Simmons. The Addams Family will be performed April 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and there will be two shows on April 28 at 1 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Red Rocks Community College Theater, 13300 W 6th Avenue, in Lakewood. The theater is located at the west end, lower level. Admission is $10. RRCC students may pick up a free student voucher for the show at the Student Life Desk. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at www.tinyurl.com/RRCCTickets. Credit and debit cards are also accepted at the door.

The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
