  1. It's Groundhog Day! Punxsutawney Phil predicts the weather this morning. The world famous groundhog has predicted whether there will be six more weeks of winter or if spring will come early. (9News)
  2. JeffCo Open Space Parks' seasonal closures to protect wildlife now in effect. Several trails are off-limits due to the county's annual wildlife closures. These closures are part of an annual effort intended to protect species during sensitive times of their life cycles. Most of the closures are in effect from Feb. 1, and will continue for several months. (7News)
  3. State lawmakers try to figure out how use federal funds to address Colorado's housing crisis. Officials want to spend $400 million from the American Rescue Plan Act to help with affordable housing. The Strategic Housing Working Group has spent months looking into the state's housing crisis in hopes of coming up with solutions. (7News)
  4. Coroner IDs Lakewood skier who died in crash at Copper Mountain. Lakewood resident Nicholas Vigil, 24, died on Jan. 20, when he was skiing with friends in a treed area when he lost control and crashed. (Summit Daily)
  5. The state's spotty record on behavioral health care could improve. Colorado task force wants to spend $450M in one-time federal money on mental health and substance use treatment.(CO Newsline)
