Some Jeffco Parks Reopen After Muddy Trail Closures

Several of hikers' favorite trails have reopened after muddy trail closures. Here are the most recent openings.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO — After the latest snow dumps left muddy trails across Jefferson County, officials have reopened several parks.

Jefferson County Open Space employees were handing out dozens of citations to hikers and bikers while trails were closed.

Apex Park & White Ranch Park will reopen Thursday, parks officials said.

The following parks and trails have reopened:

  • Deer Creek Canyon and Hildebrand Ranch Parks
  • North Table Loop at North Table Mountain Park
  • Matthews/Winters Park has reopened with the exception of Zorro Trail, which remains closed and muddy.
  • East Mount Falcon Park
