- Travelers continue to be stranded as Southwest's problems snowball. Getting home during the holidays have taken on a new meaning as the beleaguered airline has been unable to reset their system. On Wednesday, Southwest canceled another 300 flights out of DIA and more are expected today. (AP)
- Friends and families still mourn loss a year after deadly shooting spree that ended in Lakewood. The shooting spree that stretched across two cities, ended last year when Lakewood Police Agent, Ashley Ferris, killed the suspect in a shootout in Belmar. - City of Lakewood receives grant for fire mitigation. The city received a $40,000 grant from Great Outdoors Colorado that will help the city's Parks and Open Space department create a 20-foot defensible space to help protect adjacent homes. Check out the plan. (Lakewood)
