Jefferson County School District sent out messages this week indicating that none of the district's schools had been targeted by the Tik Tok meme's threats. (MEAWW)

  • Lakewood's here to help. two drop off locations for tree limb drop-off begins Dec. 18. Following yesterday's windstorm, the City of Lakewood will offer two opportunities for tree limb drop-off to Lakewood residents only. Morse Park, 8180 W. 20th Ave., will offer tree limb drop-off on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lakewood's Greenhouse will also open on Saturday, Dec. 18 and remain open as a drop-off site for tree limbs and Christmas tree recycling from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022. The greenhouse at 9556 W. Yale Ave. is located between Estes and old Kipling streets. (Lakewood)
