Red Rocks New Year's Eve Show Moved Inside
Rap Show moved to DU's Magness Arena will feature Migos, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Post Malone, Dizzy Wright and King Green (of RDGLDGRN)

MORRISON, CO -- Whose idea was it to throw a rap show at Red Rocks Amphitheater on New Year's Eve anyway? Perhaps trying to avoid a Fyre Festival version 2.0 (Frozen version), promoter Feyline announced plans to move a planned NYE performance from the outdoor venue to the University of Denver's Magness Arena.
The show will feature a handful of Millennial-pleasing rap artists: Migos, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Post Malone, Dizzy Wright and King Green (of RDGLDGRN). According to Feyline's website, any tickets for Red Rocks will be valid at the indoor (and warmer) location.
Weekly weather predictions said Metro Denver temperatures on Dec. 31 were expected to plummet to the 20s (after a warm near-60-degree day Friday).

Feyline made the announcement on their website:
Due to a high potential for inclement weather and for the safety, comfort and convenience of our attendees, New Year’s Eve on the Rocks has been relocated to Magness Arena.
Show organizers made this determination based on weather predictions that have been getting worse over the preceding weeks.
Magness Arena offers easy access and proximity to public transportation, light rail, taxis and ride-sharing services — all of which are a particularly important concern for event organizers with this show being on New Year’s Eve.
All tickets purchased for Red Rocks will be honored.
The party will now last until at least 1 a.m. and play host to a number of special guests.
A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Von’s Vision, Denver Broncos player Von Miller’s non-profit organization providing low-income Denver children with eye care and corrective eyewear.
