- Controversial decision that had written off some of metro Denver's urban waters as "too polluted to save," reversed. In a bold move, the Colorado Department of Health and Environment will now add water quality protections for the South Platte River and other regional waterways. (CO Sun)

- Colorado's minimum wage going up to $13.65 in 2023. Slowly but surely, the state's minimum wage is going up. In 2023, it will increase $1.09 as part of the voter-approved mandate that requires the base wage be adjusted annually for inflation. (KRDO)
- Reservations not required at Eldorado Canyon State Park again until next May. The park's summer reservation system that launched in July is winding down for the winter, and beginning today, no reservations to enter the park will be required. (FOX31)
