  1. Colorado River Water District considers revamping its conservation efforts. The program, which previously ran from 2015 to 2018 and offered incentives for reduced water usage, was reintroduced by the Upper Colorado River Commission in December. (Summit Daily)
  2. Increased egg prices are hurting Denver area bakeries. As egg prices continue to climb, it's hitting both consumers and small businesses hard. For Denver bakery, French For Sugar, they use eggs in just about everything and they say they're feeling the impact. (FOX31)
  3. High levels of forever chemicals found in water and fish in Colorado. According to researchers from the Environmental Working Group, a study has revealed alarmingly high levels of PFAS in fish caught locally. 4. Fungus may be the next tool used to fight wildfires. Boulder Mushroom, a Boulder-based mycology center founded and owned by Zach Hedstrom, aims to utilize mushrooms as a means of reducing the risk of wildfires in the foothills around Boulder.
