Woman Dies In Lakewood Car Crash
An investigation is underway after a 22-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Lakewood.
LAKEWOOD, CO — A woman died Friday night in a single-vehicle crash in Lakewood, police said.
Officers were called to West 6th Avenue and Kipling Street around 8:42 p.m. The 22-year-old woman was driving a white Kia sedan east on West 6th when she crashed and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the Lakewood Police Department.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

"The cause of the crash is still being investigated but high speeds are believed to be a factor," Lakewood police said in a news release.

The woman's identity has not been released.
