You Can Help At Colfax Marathon: Volunteers Sought For May 20
Volunteers who help with the Colorado Colfax Marathon in Lakewood will get a t-shirt and cap.

LAKEWOOD, CO -- Volunteers are needed for the Lakewood portion of the 13th annual Colorado Colfax Marathon on Sunday, May 20. The Lakewood Police Department needs people to help direct visitors, answer questions and cheer on the runners along the Colfax Avenue marathon course.
Volunteers get some marathon swag: Specifically a hat and a t-shirt.
What's needed? The race will require about five hours of your time Sunday morning between 6-11 a.m., along with a short training session in May.

Volunteers can attend one of two training sessions: Saturday, May 12 at 10 a.m. or Wednesday, May 16 at 6 p.m. The sessions take place at the Lakewood Police Department Training Room, 445 S. Allison Parkway.
You can cheer on your friends, or just spend a morning watching the runners.
