2 Men Arrested After Barricading Themselves In Littleton Home
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office issued a CodeRed alert on New Year's Eve to residents near W Bowles Avenue and Grant Ranch Boulevard.
LITTLETON, CO — Two men have been arrested after they barricaded themselves inside a home on New Year's Eve in Littleton. Deputies spent more than four hours trying to end the barricade, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were patrolling in the 5900 block of W. Bowles Ave., when they saw a vehicle that had been reported stolen, authorities said. When they tried to question people inside a home, several people came outside, but the two men remained inside.
A SWAT team was called to the home, and a CodeRed Alert was sent to residents within a quarter mile of the house, asking them to shelter in place. Drivers were asked to avoid West Bowles Avenue between Pierce and Grant Ranch.

The two men were taken into custody just before 9:30 p.m.
