Littleton Families Evacuated After Apartment Fire
The American Red Cross is helping people who were forced out of their homes by a fire over the weekend, authorities said.

LITTLETON, CO — Three Littleton families were forced out of their homes after a fire broke out Saturday in an apartment building downtown. The families were evacuated from the building at 5873 S. Prince St. early Saturday morning, South Metro Fire Rescue said.
The fire damaged two units on the second floor of the building, fire officials said.
American Red Cross volunteers were called to the area just before 3 a.m. to help the three families, which included five adults and three children, the organization said.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
