Arapahoe Sheriff Accepting Citizens' Academy Applications
Residents are invited to go behind the scenes with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office.
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO — The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for its adult Citizens' Academy in the fall. Attendees will get an inside look at patrol, SWAT, bomb squad, traffic, HAZMAT and other programs.
The five-week fall academy runs from Sept. 3 to Oct. 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and includes two Saturday classes. Food is provided during each class.
The fall class is limited to 25 people (age 21 or over) and is based on first come, first served. If the class is full, your name can be put on a waiting list.
