Car Crashes Into Littleton Home, Strikes Natural Gas Meter

LITTLETON, CO — A car backed into a home in Littleton Tuesday evening. The crash occurred at 5307 S. Cimmaron Rd., near Bowles Lake.

The vehicle backed over a natural gas meter, which caused a leak, but crews were able to shut it off, fire officials said.

South Metro Fire Rescue crews worked with Littleton police to ensure the area was safe.

"Thankfully no injuries occurred and firefighters are stabilizing the structure," South Metro Fire Rescue said in a tweet Tuesday evening.

No further details about what caused the crash were released.
