Census 2020 In Colorado: County Breakdown Of Response Rates
Here's a ranking of the Colorado counties with the top self-response rates.
As of Monday, around 36 percent of Colorado households had responded to the 2020 Census, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The national self-response rate is 34.7 percent.
The data that's collected will determine the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the distribution of more than $675 billion in federal funds to states and communities for the next decade.

- Jefferson County, 43.8 percent
- Yuma County, 43 percent
- Boulder County, 42.5 percent
- Broomfield County, 42.5 percent
- Phillips County, 41.3 percent
- El Paso County, 40.6 percent
- Arapahoe County, 40.5 percent
- Mesa County, 39.3 percent
- Fremont County, 39.2 percent
- Elbert County, 38.8 percent
- Logan County, 38.8 percent

- Bent County, 36.8 percent
April 1, 2020 is Census Day. Colorado residents can respond online, by phone, or by mail - all without having to meet a census taker, officials said.
