City Of Littleton: The Littleton Police Are Working On An Incident In The 2700 Block Of Riverwalk Circle

Littleton Police Department (LPD) is on scene in the area of West Riverwalk Circle. The initial call came in at approximately 12:50 p.m. as a suspicious incident. LPD Officers arrived in the area and encountered a barricaded subject in one of the units. LPD S.W.A.T. and Negotiations were sent to assist in deescalating the situation as safely as possible for all involved. At approximately 6:30 p.m. the subject was taken into custody without incident. The area is now open to residents and safe for those waiting to return to their home. A police presence will remain in the area for the criminal investigation.

We appreciate the cooperation of our community in ensuring all citizens stayed safe and allowed our officers to focus on the barricaded subject.
