CPW Issues Warning After Bear Spotted In Littleton

LITTLETON, CO — A bear was seen wandering around Littleton Friday morning, Colorado Parks and Wildlife warned. The bear was seen near West Ken Caryle Avenue and South Simms Street.

CPW officers posted a photo of the bear on social media and warned residents to keep their property free of anything that will attract bears.

CPW has issued the following reminders to residents:

• always keep your barbecues clean
• take down any bird feeders
• keep garages closed
• only put out trash on the morning of pickup
